Thinking of a group ride somewhere over Christmas break . Maybe the back Palmerston to Virginia pub shop for fuel or food . Or I could take our six wheeler to carry fuel for a longer ride. Anybody keen?

Have had frame powder coated and doing the reassemble now. Been getting a few upgrades here and there as I go along. Just got skid plates, grab bar and bull bar off a guy on here pretty cheap. Have to chase down some heal guards eventually. My factory ones are cracked. Just taking my time to do it right.
I gave my arms a dodgy paint job. brings the rest of it down, but hopefully be able to afford new ones after christmas. |

We went to the qld titles just for a bit of variety - you know come last at different tracks ... and throughly enjoyed it. maybe if you get around to it you can come too? _________________ Family is most important.... next is our quads |

DMCC is the go unfortunately you need full racing license for finke ($255 and $70 Darwin club + $440 to enter so its not cheap to end up like a rag doll after 3 days .

To me this is a trip of a life time, Just to have the oportunity to complete and possibley finish is worth the money. Finke is the ulimate desert race and will sort the men form the boys. Although I have no doubt there are alot of boys out there that can beat me hahaha.
MA web site siad I'll have to do a written and prac test to pass licening. Does you club do licence days or do you just book with someone to come out on a day that u are riding? |

The compact one at this stage would be what I'm after. so long as I can get my kids little $400 through away quad up the front and a tool box be perfect.
If anyone is chatting with goat can you ask him if he can put some prices up for both models.
Cheers Nut
The rebuild is almost complete. Started the old girl yesterday. Hmm I miss that sound. Just waiting on my rear calliper(seezed) to come back and rear sprocket bolts. |
