hi people im putting in a new set of vforce reeds soon this is no problem
but i also want to put on some reed spacers in. does the banshee carbie rubbers need to be changed or cut because it looks very tight.

yeah you will have to trim the boots back where the carbies join the airbox.
why do you want spacers? is it just a clearance issue?
imo they dont do anything other than lift your carbies off the clutch arm for better access etc... _________________ 2002 SE Banshee |

hi there mate
thay do work .banshees have a boost port in the intake trackt and the reed blocks sit very close. with the spacers it opens this restriction up and makes it flow better you mite not feel a gaine on a stock bike but it will help it breth better hope that helps  |

yep it unshrouds the boost port which is good but it also lowers your crank case compression so i would say they cancel each other out in terms of power gains!
the v force however are a good thing you will probably have to rejet for them though to take full advantage _________________ 2002 SE Banshee |

| tried on many 2 strokers, Spacers will give a little better/smoother bottom end, but you usually get more top end without them mainly due to the extra crankcase pressure. [less crankcase volume ] |
