GUIDELINES FOR THE BUY & SELL SECTION

Please note the following guidelines now apply to the Buy & Sell section.

Moderators may move posts to Accessories section where they find that your posting frequency here moves you from the Private Seller to Commercial Seller or Frequent Private Seller.

From January 1 2008, posts in the Buy & Sell section will only remain on the website for one month and after that they will be archived automatically.


Buyers
Looking for something? You can post your requests here, or look through both the Buy & Sell and Accessories section where parts for sale can be advertised.


Private Sellers
Upgraded your bike and want to sell your old parts or bike?
Cleaning out your shed and finding things that you want to sell?

These types of sales mean you're a private seller, and can post your items for sale in this Buy & Sell Section.


Frequent Private Sellers
Selling more than 5 items per month, or more than 5 of any type of item (which makes it nearly a commercial number of items)?
Are you a part time hobby seller - importing some bits and pieces for added income?
Looking to become a commercial operator, but just starting out?

These types of sellers are classed as Frequent Private Sellers. To avoid confusion in the OZATV.com community, as some may confuse you as being a Commercial seller, please post your items for sale in the Accessories section.


Commercial Sellers
OZATV shortly will be providing sponsorship opportunities for commercial operators to promote themselves and their products on the OZATV.com website.

Until the, commercial sellers (online stores, parts stores, ATV modifications, manufacturers etc) wishing to promote their products and wares on the site should do so in the Accessories section of the forum.

For your protection as a seller, and also for buyers, if you are directly advertising your product on the forum, OZATV take no responsibility for the transaction, and due to privacy laws and limitations of the information collected by OZATV.com, will not provide either party with the details of the other.

It is recommended for sellers to use services such as www.ebay.com.au or www.tradingpost.com.au to sell items, as those sites are specifically set up for these transactions.

well welcome aboard chap. and that's the crux of it, this forum is not just buying and selling, this a community of quad riders, not a buy and sell site, So go to the introduction thread - http://www.ozatv.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=24 - and introduce yourself first.

It's preferred that posters are involved in the forum - not just here to sell stuff. So ideally you'll have posted around 10 posts or so before you sell your wares (and not just 10 posts replying to buy and sell!)

If you feel that that's unfair, PM admin and put your case forward.
