Guys/Girls,
I am running a competition to find the best design for a custom OZ ATV dune flag. With the forum owners permission, the winning entry will be sent to DW Flags where the design will be placed in the club section of their website. This will enable any of the forum members to purchase the flags direct from DW Flags.

The rules:

* All entries must be posted on this thread no later than midday on Friday 30th of November 2007.
* No limit on number of entries from forum members
* Entries cannot contain either profanities or derogatory statements
* Entries must contain the words OZ ATV and must promote our sport
* Flag shape can be either triangular or rectangular

The winning entries will be judged by a poll vote which I will post on Saturday 1st of December 2007. The final decision will be announced on the forum on Friday 7th of December 2007.

The prizes:

The member whose design receives the most votes at the end of the competition will receive 2 off fibreglass whips 6' long 1/4" diametre with standard atv mounts, along with two off custom dune flags containing their winning designs.
Those forum members whose designs poll the second and third highest votes will each receive one of the whip/flag combinations.

Should there be any objections from the forum owners in regards to the usage of the OZ ATV logo, prize winners will be able to select the design for their flags from the stock flag selection on the Devil Woman Flag website.

So, all you duners out there..start getting creative and post your designs.

For those forum members who miss out on the prizes, these combinations will be available at a cost of $55.00 AUD delivered, once the final design has been submitted. I am currently negotiating a bulk order price with Barbara from DW Flags which will hopefully reduce the price further.

Guys,
Once the winning design has been lodged with DW Flags, you will be able to order the forum flag with your log-in name printed on them and in a range of colors at no additional cost.

I thought this was a great idea. So I have spent some time nutting it out.

My flag has sand dunes and a track though the trees. I think it covers all of us.

Thanks for looking,
Karren laughing

I just goofed up and put it in the wrong section, but I worked it out now.

Yep. 6' fibreglass whips in either black or white. Mounts are either standard (bolt on) or quick release (which come in red, yellow, blue, black, or orange).

looking in getting 50 to 100 2.4 metre flag wips to hand out for whot it costs good ones that work .

think safety first quad.

I thought it was this post that got the whole thing rolling.

So far I realy like the frogmore design, but the of all things that need some work is the OZatv blue logo... Hrm just dosent belong there. This NOT having a go, I like the ideation behind the whole design, it realy does come across as funky, certainly going draw attention to it self.

On a half hearted legalish side, once the design has been picked and the winner wins... Who will own the design, OZATV ? the designer ? or the flag maker ? Who can use the design?. I had a very intersting battle once with a rather famous furniture design company over this very same thing several years ago. Im my opinion it should belong to the Forum, and then the owner just needs to hand out a licence to reproduce, etc etc, keep it simple, so everyone gets what they want.

If you turn the OZ atv logo into a negative it's all yellow & orange shades,
Try it it looks quite cool, maybe someone should try incorporating that into a flag.
