Hello every one i did this on another web site and got some funny stories out of it so i will give it a shot here to laughing

On september the 16th i was riding my bike at a bike track and had my bike going sideways around a corner and i was going a bit quick , i was at that point of been to far sideways so i thiught i would rap it on that little bit more and as it started to pull away the back wheel fell straight into a pot hole. the bike flicked me off like a rag doll i did a 360 flip in the air and landed on my back.as i looked up the bike was up in the air spining around and landed upside down rite along side me about 2 inchs away. so i quickly got up and went to put my bike back on its wheels and my right hand was hurting somting shocking. but i got it back on its wheels and finshed the last two laps. when i got back to the pits i took my glove off and my hand had swolen up like a ballon.so that as the end of my day Evil or Very Mad ....When i got home i as in a bit of pain so i put my bike in the shed covered in mud and looked /cleaed it on monday when i cleaned it the damage i did was bent handle bars/brake lever and the rear sub frame of the raptor was bent down on one side about 1 1/2 inchs..I then cleaned my helmet and i had taken a masive chunck out of the side eek
..But as for my hand i went to the docs and thay said that i had just bruised it (crap) so 2 weeks later i went back had more x rays .still nothing...got sent to a hand sergion and e found that i had tourn the mussles off the bone of my tumb Sad o i had to have a operation hey pu 2 screws in my thumb and reattached the mussles back to my thumb..now its 22nd of november and i have been told that i can not ride for the rest of the year Evil or Very Mad my god the time is going so slow grrr i just go to the shed and stare at my bike. haha i have to laugh or i would cry just a little stack can cause so much damage.ok some one elses turn laughing i got pleanty my crashes to tell you about later.

Brrrrrrr
the thought of it still gives me goose bumps . had been riding my quad out the bush , never thought of riding it on the sand, anyways this particular day i had to many balls so to speak , and was a bit cocky too . doing what my son was doing on his rm i thought , yep , i,ll give that a go for sure .
jumping the table top turned out to be heaps of fun and after about 4 hours of nutting this section of track out including the table top i decide to have a crack at the double , ( bling ) wrong . i over estimated the double by approx , 2 meters .
4 days later i woke up in intensive care at the john hunter hospital . the first 3 days i was in a drugged induced coma , then a week in intensive care then down to the survivers end of the hospital whre they dont care about ya as much (hahaha )
anywy , i ended up with a heap of broken bits and pieces . i had broken - my collar bone , 8 ribs on the right hand side of my chest all had multiple breaks , punctured lung , elbow and two fingers on my right arm had some breaks . right leg and bum cheek had servere muscle damage .
and me quad had 2 bent wings , and thats it not a blingmore . that was about 16 weeks this sunday . i have been back riding now for about 4 weeks , i could,nt wait to get me arse back in the saddle ......

rick laughing laughing laughing laughing

oooooouuuuucccccchhhh.. geee Rick at least when you do it you do a good job of it ..

another one i have done is i went out riding my bike with my brother and he flicked a heap of dirt and stuff up at me .so iwent and took off after him and just as i started to get a good speed up all i saw in front of me was 3 massive holes dug by a excuvator.i tryed to pop a wheelie to go over them that was ok for the front wheels but i forgot about the back ones eek .. the back wheels fell straight into the 1st hole and the bike came to a quick stop.i didnt.i flew straight over the bike and my legs were stuck firmly on the foot pegs and well lets say i came off and the top part of my legs had the perfect bruise of the handle bar and the cross bar on the handle bars on both my legs. some how i did not break my legs but i was in alot of pain for a long time Evil or Very Mad (thats when i was young to now my bones are a bit old im 32 Rolls eyes it feels like they break just trying to get out of bed laughing )

Last year (2006) I decided to have a go in the Queensland Quad Titles (mx)Clubman class. Practise went real well.In the first race I stalled of the line, so had to do some catching-up.Passed a few riders and spun out in one of the corners.Ended up in last position again and had to do some more catching-up. passed 3 ridders and hit the 50ft tabletop a little fast.Remember cartwheeling and hitting the ground, thinking it was over, only to hit the ground twice after that and ending up with my back against tires around a lamp post. Not sure what the bike did, but I know that it missed me.
Ended up in hospital, pissing blood and not being able to move my mid section or walk. X-rays were taken and I was told that I was only bruised and battered. Nothing broken or no permanent damage. Spent the next 2 weeks in a wheel chair. 11 months later my back was still very sore, so went to see the doctor again(a different doctor). Did some tests and it turns out that my right glute is no more. It tore of the bone and has been absorbed by the body.(that explains the burning sensation on my right side) My backbone and tailbone are also no longer lined up and I have a crack in one of the vertibra.
Thats the good part.
I have also been told by 2 doctors that I should never ride again. eek
O well, I guess I'll have to take up knitting. Fourtrax, any chance you can teach me Evil or Very Mad

was p;laying around on the saltflats and my throttle felt very stiff, i just put it down to the mud i was riding in and that when i get it home i would clean it and put some oil on it....
had it in 4th gear doin a big massive powerslide when it flicked me off and off it went fourth gear pinned across this salt mash, no rider.
ran over to my mate and jumped on the back with him and we were in pursuit, cathing it was easy but WTF was i gunna do now, jump from quad to quad... i think not (was on the wrong side to hit the kill switch), but than it hit like an sand island type thing, lanched into the air landed on its side and stalled..

now i always have one of them tether kill switches and if the throttle is stiff i dont ride with it untill it doesnt stick anymore

Not a falling off my bike story but whilst arriving home after a hot day down riding on the farm I was obviously not thinking and unhooked the trailer whilst the rear quad was still on the trailer.
The result being a smashed hand and 2 badly deformed fingers.

Good thing is we always carry a first aid kit with the trailer and I quickly cracked one of the chemical ice packs and applied it, hopefully my hand and fingers will be back to normal within a week or 2...

Yeah, going to the hairdresser tommorow to get it dyed blonde, 2 seconds before I flicked the release I thought about what would happen if the trailer flicked up, most of the time it is empty...

O well,, has to be better than a student at work, she has broken both arms recently, poor thing, can't even scratch her own hiney...
