To your back with onky straps. Well thats what my

just ignore that.

Yer strap it to the rear grab bar would have to be the best option, Make sure the caps on tight dont want fuel to leak onto the exhaust pipes, Or carry it in a back pack?

back pack... make sure you fill up as soon as you can empty the can, though. Be careful.

hmmm, larger fuel tank would be my first option, bit risky crusing around with 10L of fuel straped to your bike,

but if you have to, id say back pack aswell...

What about two 5 litre oil containers yes I know it would not be quite legal, but it wuold be safer to have two smaller containers secured to the bike (less weight in each) than carrying fuel on your body, very bad idea.

my brother used to strap an oil container with fuel onto the top of the forks/ handlebars, on his YZ 250 H (this was quite some time ago Smile )

local crew i know strap 4ltr (plastic oil containers) to grab bar + another on top or behind bumper of banshee.
i strap 2ltr container behind bumper on boys blaster or 4ltr to grab bar on longer rides
i think strapped to your back would make for an uncomfortable ride.
wherever ya put it make sure its tied on good & get it into your tank as soon as ya can.

If its in a place where you have ridden before, why not drive out the day before and drop the container of fuel off in a place you will find it. Saves you carrying fuel out with you on the bike on the day and you can always retrieve the container at a late date.

have thought of
theres a few reasons, 1 i dont have a license, 2 it will be found and stolen:evil: Sad (unless i get it to a friends house which is what i will be doing once i get to the place)

i dont think i will be strapping it to my body, the 5L was a good idea but my dad has taken it down to perth (thats what i would be using).
i might use the oil containers, i wont be doing whoops or jumps so it wont be that bad

thanks again,

For a banshee, I thought at first, maybe just splash it all over it like a madman then stand back & throw the can at it. After that rant & rave about how you will never own another 2 stroke & then just throw a match at it.
But then I realised what you really want to do.
Sorry, I haven't got any Ideas to help you out.

lol, thats NOT nice very nice, burning a legend in ATVing history laughing Evil or Very Mad

heres what i ended up doing
found a oil bottle (6litres) that slide between the grab bar and plastics. i had a piece of rope from the holes on their side go underneath so it suspended the bottle bout half way (in height between the grab bar and plastics) than got another piece of rope over the top through the handle and tied it down...
worked a treat

BTW gammie61: once pre-mix is in the blood and the smoky start up smell is in the air you cant help youself but to say, "WOW THIS IS GUNNA BE ONE HELL OF A RIDE!"
lol

thanks for all the suggestions too
