today was the 1st time i took my bike 4 a proper ride sicne its new rings and it was going good 4 aobut 1 hour, the all of a sudden when i hold it flat from gears 3rd-5th it seems almost like its runnig out of fuel coz it hamers in the bottm to mid but when its up top screaming it just farts ans crap like that, i check the jets and there all clean so i dont no what else to check.

it has a 450r carb on it and it has a 180main, its just real wierd it was going so good 4 aobut 30min then it just started palying up.

| hi there did you clean the carb after the rebuild . had a mate with that same mod (450 carb on the 400 ) after cleaning the carbe, we noticed that when he hit the throttel hard it splutted and bog down. after a close look we noticed that the power pump was squirting more fuel. when we cleaned it we pulled the power pump apart. there was dirt on top of the plunger not letting it return all the way back. (must have been tuned like this) now when you hit the throttel it squirted too much fuel it was just a matter of adjusting the squirt time about (1.5 sec - about wat ya wont) |
