..tick...tick.tick..........tick....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.......got one!
If you want something to scare the @#$! out of you, get a Kawasaki. Seeing a photo of Yogie sitting on his certainly scares most people
Seriously though, have a look through some of the posts on the forum. There are pros and cons of most types of quads here as well as performance information and opinions of those guys riding them. In my opinion, if you are riding predominantly trail, the Raptor is a good all round ride with heaps of grunt straight out of the box. _________________ I'm not suffering from insanity, I'm enjoying it!!! |

Welcome, Can't go past a Raptor for trails, definately works well for me...
Any good spots down south?
School holidays soon and I have 6 weeks off, looking for somewhere where it is not sooo dusty...
Let me know if you are up this way and we will organise a ride...
BTW, wasn't you buying boots at the silverdome a while back while getting ready for an event...? _________________ Andrew |

The raptor 700 or 660 is better for the trails with the grunt, ground clearance and the reverse is perfect....
I say the 700 is the best package and easier to upgrade if you ever wanted too...
Yeah sure buy a Kawasaki if you want to be left for dead by your current ride... nah as said before they all have pro's and cons, but type in raptor 660 or raptor 700 in ebay and see how much is available for them...
Read U.S forums and see how much info there is on them, my opinion, not trying to be biased but the support and bike is a good package....
Good luck and welcome to the site |

i dont mind the raptors.. ill buy new when i up ggrade (just less hassles)
the TRX has been a great bike and i cant kill it! its come to the point where im throwing it around to much and i dont want to break it.
definatly will ground clearance as that what the TRX lacks. |

Thought the name sounded familiar, it was me selling my gear after writing myself off on the 660, swore I would never ride again but now have a 700 and going stronger than ever...
Goodluck with whatever you buy and I will be sure to send you a message in the holidays....... should be able to find somewhere... _________________ Andrew |

I stayed for some, not bad for a short circuit, was amazed at the speeds reached. would like to see more but time off work is scarse, and with our small sign writing and sticker business booming time is even more scarse.
Hope to catch you later in action... _________________ Andrew |

Don't worry, Education has it's moments, specially when you work for a primary school.... _________________ Andrew |
