Quick 1 for ya's, Doesnt matter what ya ride but when it comes to maintenance on your bike and servicing or replacing parts is it important to stick to the torque strength of bolts and nuts that is supplied in the maintenance books or can ya maverick it? (Flying blind and tighten till tight?) thoughts... _________________ "Its Only A Flesh Wound !!!"

I usually go till it strips, then back it off 1/4 turn
External I go Mav, and leave the internals to the pro's |

You will find that without using a torque wrench that you will more than likely over tighten bolts rather than not enough be careful not to strip bolts, crack things etc, see if you can borrow one to use so you can get an idea of how tight it should be. _________________ say NO! to ball sports |

You can get away with mavericking a fair few
things but some it essential to torque to the
correct spec. With the wheels you have to be
doing well to strip one of those bolts. _________________ <RIZ> |
