every time i go to stockton now which is every second weekend. there is always some in the car park riding absolutly full noise throwing rocks every where and really pissing off other quad riders and 4wd owners. just
think about it people we have the whole bloody beach to ride on and some people find the need to show of in the car park. some one is going to get hurt by a 4wd coming round a corner. and most of all the image it puts out about us to the 4wd owners and fisherman is not good. i really dont think it is regulars to stockton so please people if you see some one acting like an idiot around the car park say something to them. lets not let them reck it for us.

Mate its about time people slow down in the car park, The ones that do hoon around are the ones that cant ride and they think they are show ponies. When you see them doing it we have started to use the p plate looser sign with the little fingure at there face. I go up there with my family and let tyres down on my 4wd and my young son wonders around the car. I tell you if they him it will be on. The car park should be warm up only and once you are on the beach ride like your out of control as we do.

There thats my say Im with you all the way on this one. Be cool to ride with you some day. We will be up there this weekend on the Saturday night.

Take down their numbers and call the cops, simple as that. If one mum and dad and kids sees a goose, we all become goose's, stuff them call the cops and even take a pic of the fools and and give that to the cops as well.

these people are known as "CAR PARK HEROES"!!!!!!!!!!! they are the worlds most talented quad riders who can show off and do doey's on gravel and go flat out in a straight line in the car park but you often find them 10 mins later upside down on the sand or around a tree because in actual fact - THEY CANT RIDE FOR "profanity removed"!!!!!!!

Yeah we call them CAR PARK HERO'S as well, One guy came in and showered my new car in rocks and then got the sh#ts when I picked rocks up and threw them back at him.
As some one just said, people see one Di@khead on a Quad , Trike or Buggy and we are all labeled Di@kheads! If there was anytime to start behaving ourselfs it is now, It will be another excuse for National Parks to boot us out.

im glad use are all with me on this one guys. everyone has got valid points. i hate getting rocks thrown at my car as do you guys. a little kid gets hit my some and its all over for us. lets make a stand people we cant let the national parks have anything against us. lets gett the word out that we dont want this image and start letting the offenders know about it.

i spent the long weekend up stockton and i think some of the fastest riders i seen were in the carpark... im not impressed ... one fella came down the road on a banshee fish tailing between parked cars. i was getting dressed behind and i heard rocks hit my car, trailer, other cars and my mates getting dressed ... next time time it happens it will be there last ... that was the worst of it but i did see a family of three on a quad riding up th wrong side of the road making a 4wd go onto the wrong side to get around them and one bike i think didnt even go on the sand the stupid b*tch road it up and down the gravel road all day when she was asked to slow down she said yeah and did a burnout up the road ... best thing for these carpark racers is a head on with a 4wd.. cant wait i hope i get to see it so i can say .... i told you so d*@khead

Maybee we could ask nickbb1 to make up some "Quad Slow Down signs" with oz atv below it I would be willing to chip in for that and see how it goes least npwlf might recognise that its not all of us wish to leave our brains in the tool box. Sean

i had a run in with two guys like that
after filling my coffee mug with dust i f$%king lost it and went to have a go at them
it came real close to a punch up until the rest of the guys started comin outta their cars and told em off too
they backed off when they saw how many people they pissed of and left
saw them few times later but they were polite and rode of to the dunes slowly
so maybe confrontation is the way to let these goons know we had enough of wankers given us a bad name

This seems to be an ongoing problem as a new thread has just emerged in general chat, Looks like its up to everyone to stand up to try and solve this problem, even though most if not all of these clowns are not regulars others are quick to throw us all in the same basket so with our atv rep on the line its time to take action on there "CAR PARK HEROS"
