Yer Mate , I know we have a few , what size I don't know , but I will find out Saturday . The club Sec said " bring them and we will work it out "

The trouble here is the juniors have had nil exposure , If the local's see them on the track , and what they are capable of , I reckon there will be new additions to christmas lists this year Smile

Hey Postie,

Not sure how many others have a bit of a problem with the Race Order that was posted. We have a bit of a concern as we are riding in each of the Championship races. With the order that was posted we wouldn't get a break in between and the next race would be held up waiting for us to get to the start line.

I have had a bit of a "play" with the order and discussed it with Kaylene. She thought my Race Order sounded OK.

1. Championship - Vets
2. Support - Womens
3. Support - Intermediate
4. Jnr Class
5. Championship - Open
LUNCH BREAK
6. Support - Clubman
7. Championship - Women
8. Support - Pro/Exp
9. Championship - Jnr
10. Ironman

I took into account any classes that may have double up riders and they now have at least one race break in between for the weekend.

Thanx Brooksy ,
That's the feedback we were after, the order you have posted works well for myself, but once again if anyone can see a clash of classes , please say so Smile

Now I'm unfamiliar with the juniour classes so please work with me here , so far we have 1 nomination in the 12-16 age group [defending champ] , with another 2 possibles depending .
As you are probly aware unless there is 5 entries or more , it will be classed as a support race [$66 nomination] and trophies can be arranged .
If we can get 3 at least it will fill the podium and give valuable exposure to the class.
We have the young guns wanting to ride quads , but I think the parents are still a little afraid to take the step and crossover !

The club also want to squeeze in a 50cc dvision 1 and 2 if anyone is interested, to help break up the senior classes Smile

I hope this helps Cool

In the order Brooksy posted could you swap Junior and Open championship? The fellas who are pushing themselves to the brink of destruction might need a bit of a decent break. Laughing Iknow I will. Rolls eyes

What is the number of riders count at now?

1. Championship - Vets

3. Support - Intermediate

5. Championship - Open
4. Jnr Class

LUNCH BREAK
6. Support - Clubman
7. Championship - Women
8. Support - Pro/Exp
9. Championship - Jnr
10. Ironman

Work with me here Mic, did you mean like so , if so then Sup/Intermediate and Champ/Open are together , then I would be knackered Laughing
Remember the lunch break should give the clubman time to recoup if they are in the champ/opens.

I was told on Friday we were between 30-40 entries . Plus there is still a few entries ,In the post . While this might not sound like a lot to some , given the distance everone has to travel to our humble club in the bush,
[ as far away as the top end] it is a highly commendable on everyone's behalf .
Understandably Victoria couldn't make it this year [it is a personal goal of mine to travel down once I have a quad worthy of the cause ] , although CQ and NQ have made up the balance , and of course NSW Is bringing a strong contingent to the contest .

We went out today for the working bee , the track's looking sweet ,
Owen's made a walking trail down the bottom of the pit paddock, so everyone can get down and watch the action down the back and through the whoops Cool
It might be good to know to bring as much drinking water as you can carry and visit the local camping store and see if they have a personal fly veil [ they flies were a bit sticky today Wink ]

Hey Postie,

I will be out on friday morning sometime. Will be setting up camp somewhere there. Are you coming on the Friday too?

I think the number thing was brought up as I am as guilty as you but now I am all sorted now. And Barry with his giant no. 1 didn't help.

Regards from the Madman.

Just a suggestion, but could the 200cc[x5] and the 50cc [x2] jnrs be seperated, and slot a class between open,s and clubman?

1. Championship - Vets
2. Support - Womens
3. Support - Intermediate
4. Jnr Class
5. Championship - Open
LUNCH BREAK [2nd junior class]
6. Support - Clubman
7. Championship - Women
8. Support - Pro/Exp
9. Championship - Jnr
10. Ironman
