Hi everyone, been lurking for a while now and picked up sum good info but this is my first post.

I'm a 700r rider however a mate of mine has just picked up a 400ex as his first quad @ 40 something. Just looking for some advice on what mods would be worthwhile considering.

Cheers

a pipe/air filter/jetting would be all I'd be looking at. get used to riding it then start saving for something worth doing the rest to.

yeah even just a slip on and jetting will help, sisters bike has a staintune slip-on, nice note to it, and gives a nice increase. (still a lady's bike Very Happy)

I agree with that + a good set of tyres can make a huge difference - don't throw too much bucks into old tech quad when ya can have more bang for buck from more recent quads.
