Well this weekend was a great one. It was good to meet lots of new people so now you can put a face to names. The ride was great and there was lots of action that went on. For all the ones that didn't turn up you missed out on a good weekend. One of the best parts of the ride was the creek beds. All i can say is watch the video and look at the pictures and that will show you what you missed.
Huge thanks for the weekend as if it wasn't for you saying you and your family were going it wouldn't have happened.
Cheers

From what started off as a bloke ( a rather large one ) going on a family riding trip and inviting everyone along turned out to be a great QUAD event, it was great to meet up with everyone and you couldnt ask for a better bunch of people to hang out and have a good time with, it didnt matter if it was your first ride or you had been riding for years everyone fitted right in, thanks to the whole Huge family for organising it and everyone for turning up, looking forward to the next one.

I am loving all the praise --- but it was every one that attended that made the weekend as good as it was (and to you all we thank you)
The trip there was full of surprises – from hitting kangaroos to the u-bolts coming loose on the trailer ---- but once we arrived it was cruse mode (no work related stress)
The riding was tops but dusty although I think most ppl enjoyed them self (except the guy in the helicopter on his way back to Brisbane) (broken arm just above the wrist) he went over the hangers and his quad had full bark buster type hand protectors and his arm got tangled up with that and the bars (good luck bloke)
The hill climb was a sight to see for me personally as a trail rider as I would like to think that I would try most thing --- but you guys and girls that hit those hills (you must be on drugs)
Saturday was a bit slow for me (hang over) as Friday night was a bit of talent contest (every one had to see if they could talk over HUGE) not going to happen
On the Sunday we held some sand drags and offered some QQRA giveaways
It was a go to stop type of thing run over about 150 meters where two (sometimes 3) quads dragged as fast as they could and then had to stop inside a square box b4 the other rider ---- the action was a plenty and with an awesome rollover (the names have been held to protect the innocent)
Sunday arvo we hit some nice tight stuff (two wheeler type tracks) there is something about negotiating rocky tree covered trails with your family and friends right behind you
At this point
My family and I would like to thank every one that came and made this a memorable weekend and would also like to thank Manar park for putting up with us all
For me this will become a regular ride (up to 3 times a year) and the next one looks like boxing day 2007 to the 2nd of jan 2008 (new years on Manar) ---- still to be confirmed
It was good also to meet every ones partners and it was equally as good that every ones partners and kids could get out there and have a ride as well
Highlight of the weekend = to be able to ride along side of some of Queensland’s pro MX riders and to get the feeling that we all can ride as one (lets not forget Sherlock’s burnout)
Down side of the weekend = my son blowing up his KX 25k’s from camp and having to mount his bike on the back of my raptors grab bar and caring it back to camp
I didn’t take any photos but did how ever get about an hours video (once cut it could be 15 to 20 min’s) when I finish it I will try and post it here
Thanks again HUGE Megan Braydan and Ebony _________________ -------------------------------------------------------

Hi all... a great weekend ... bar one incident
An update on Andrew (the guy that got a trip in the Helicopter) he is still in hospital and will be for some time. They say that they wont operate till Friday when the swelling goes down. I will pass on all your well wishes when I go and visit him this aftternoon. Thanks to all riders and the crew at Manar that looked after him prior to his joy flight. Spoke with him yesterday and he still thinks he had a great weekend and has been reading the latest edition of ATV Action
Great Weekend... lets do it again! _________________ Outlaw 525 |

Agree with all the above, comments from Karen was that she really enjoyed the safe and friendly riding enviroment with no pressure to ride outside of her comfortzone or ability.
Was great too meet so many new faces, and like others have mentioned , found all to be relaxed and good riding habits.
Thanks to Huge and family for their hospitality, look forward to the next trip .........

Which Quad is he on Huge???
Was a good weekend hey guys!!!!!
Few drama's for me with the trailer......Friday-blown tyre then threw a tread but we got there.
Sunday threw another tread then blew a tyre and so on but we got home.
Got my tyres for the trailer on the way and will have to get some tyres for the quads too.... along with a ton of other money draining issues!!
9hrs there 6.5 back.
Got to do a top end re-build on baby Raptor and 660Raptor- smoking like a mutha now!!!
Well the Banshee should still be good to go with a set of new plugs and an air filter change.
Will keep ya's posted on how things go so we can get out for a thrash at one of the locals soon.
Regards
