ok went for a ride yesterday.
now where i go there is heaps of bush to ride in lots of tracks, but as your going in there 2-3 propertys now im sure they get pissed of with bikes & cars going past all day so i always go slowly and as quite as i can past them, ive even found a track so i dont have to go past them anymore.
ne how as i was geting there, i saw 2 guys unloading nxt there start riping up down past the propertys with there loud sr8 though exhausts.
3hours later im back and there still doing laps past the houses!
thats a sure way of pissing people off i know if i lived there i wouldnt be happy! _________________ ATV 2007 Blaster

We get the same thing here, We use the state forrest and a lot of people park in the camp/bbq/meeting area, there are hours of riding just a minute away but nearly every time we go some losers are doin laps of this area, churning up the grass and just being tossers, not to mention leaving all their rubbish being.
Forestry has warned of putting up boom gates and trenches to stop access to this area if it continues..
There is always someone out there ruining it for us genuine riders that do our best to keep these areas open for everyone.... _________________ Andrew |

as a resident of a street that is frequented by dirt bikes and quads .. about 50-150 every weekend.. i know exactly what you are talking about. although im a quad rider i still would like if these Dheads would have the respect and common sense/ decency to not go full noise past my house, i teach my 3yo how to ride his quad out on that road and would hate to see what i would do to the rider who takes us out one time. when we ride out of here the rule is 2 gear no noise till the last house then its full noise from there on.keep up the good work and lead by example for what its worth

This is a really serious topic dudes...
I'm sure there are a lot of more sensible riders out there that agree with your concerns.
Trouble is, if we want our sport to have a future I think we'll all have to be the ones who say g'day to the neighbours and campers, and approach the other "Dheads" and nicely advise them how it should be done.
If we just bitc# about it, Dheads will still happen, and our ride spots will be shut down one by one.
It would be good if the press on our activities was all good.
eg. " This guy on a quad pulled up and helped us with our camper van, flat tyre, start our fire, get out of a bog, went and got us some water, shut the gate for us..." all pretty simple stuff that has always historically been out numbered by Dhead reports. _________________ Can-Am X Team

yeah im the same i go ride out at @#$&^* occationaly, and there are a few houses around and im sure that they dont like the noise so i try and not go near them at all. But on another note there are alot of people that leave all there rubbish behind, you also get people dumping rubish there. That seriously gives me the shits you have to dodge the dumpers rubbish and some times it block off the trail |

We went to manar park tourist park in queensland on the weekend and some other people that were there trashed some antique trucks on the property just b4 they left no wonder people can't find places to ride anymore. _________________ 08 700 raptor mine
