Just a quick question for you fellow banshee lads, got a pick to help explain this, what ya's can see is the left side (fuel tap side) carby and just under that is the clutch thing that goes into the top of the gearbox/engine, under the spring which is hard to see but looks like 4 shinny washers on top of each other but isnt, LOL under that is the washer thats letting of an awful rattling sound when i hit top end of each gear as the washer is vibrating, now is this washer ment to be tight or is it just like a protector washer in some way? Ps there is a build up of gunk on it that looks black to help find...

im pretty sure they are just spacers and are meant to be there, there is a rubber oil seal underneath those washers

i will have a look on my banshee tonight

Nar it just sits there pissing the hell outta me when it rattles, so you just got the rubber seal there? if so must just be a cover washer might stick some xtra sticky grease under it to try and hold it down laughing thanks for looking

hi guys that washer is to stop the clutch return spring wereing in to the seal also just check that the clutch shaft has free play and not rideing on the clutch shft or ball . theres a adjuster inside the clutch cover on the Surprised pressure plate for free travel Surprised
