I just don't know why he would be pi$$ed you mate. It could have been the day we drag raced to see which bike was faster (mine I remember) or the doughnuts we did down the end of the paddock after he had a bitch at us last time. In all fairness to Todd these bikes are out in the paddock once or twice a week and usually for around 15 to 30 mins total. The guy is an old grumpy prick who has nothing better to do than bitch. Oh one more thing, you're more than welcome to use my rodeo that's parked at your place to do some "gardening" if you like!!!

Funny that this all came up, because I have the same thing happening to me. Neighbors are being narrow minded pricks. They have come over and complained about 4 times now about the noise and once about the noise and dust. They eventually went to council and council basically said that if I'm riding during daylight hours then they can't do anything. The neighbors didn't like that at all, but it still didn't stop them complaining.....

Oh well it definatly won't stop me riding.

Cheers,
Riz

If he really has got nothing else to do all day...
I reckon you've got a better chance of winning him.
If someone offered me a BBQ, deck chair and beer session to watch them crash their quad. I'd be there quick smart.
Do it sooner rather than later, if the old bugger makes a mission out of hating you, he'll be harder to turn from the dark side....

You've seen the trouble Luke had in Star Wars.

Best to nip it in the bud.

get youself a cheap stock pipe and bend it so it sticks out the side, than cut it in half. (you could run without a pipe but this is to point the heat and flames away), THAN get a big dirty tractor and tie somthing heavy to it and drag it around the track (for maintance).
do burnouts also cause their cool

or be nice and give him a bbq etc etc

Sorry todd
If you are to continue to ride you should
contact council find where they stand on the dust matter
put up a dust screen or wet the track
get onto your solicator and go for harasment and tresspass.
there is only 4 THINGS YOU CAN DO to win
1.bbq win him over best solution
2.using the law.
3.just dont ride ,if you go over 90db council (with complaints) will fine you.
4.buy there house
5....well dont go there police assault burn his house down...ect..ect you cant ride if you are in jail...lol

You sure you don't live on the other side of MY neighbor, maybe they are related, best thing going for me is that I work with the police with youth on the wrong side of the law and know quite a few good coppers which comes in handy when you want your neighbors "profanity removed" box car checked over twice a week for roadworthy and undue noise Evil or Very Mad

Anyways try to get the council and local law on your side by approaching them first with the delemer you are in...

Buy the man a water filter for the dust and and 1 or 2 shrubs to offset your carbon.
I'm sure he will find something else to bitch about though.

one of my mates had a neighbour complain about his son riding his peewee 50 around their property which was 10 acres so my mate set up a paddock as far away from the neighbours house as he could (you could not even hear the bike from where he was ) but the neighbour still complained so for three weekends in a row my mate parked his ride on lawn mower as close to the neighbours house as he could and left it running ay about 1200rpm all day, the neighbour relented after calling the cops who laughed at him and more or less told him to tell some one who cares & to get a life.

On the other side of the coin some neighbours have absolutely nil consideration for anyone around them, my pet hate is those pr*cks with leaf blowers - at any hour of the day - but particularly early sunday mornings. Thankfully my current neighbour dosn't make much noise otherwise he get to listen to me running my jet ski out of the water.

Hi guys,

My brother in law recently has had a problem with his neighbours recently playing loud music all the time. For some reason they all sit in the front yard as the music is too loud to sit in their own house. After several attempts to be polite and ask them to keep it down a bit he resorted to fighting fire with fire.

Fire fighting equipment used;
One large Sony stereo sysem borrowed from myself
One CD of the worlds best Pipers (bagpipes) borrowed from his boss
One extension cord to get the speakers as close to the neighbours house
Two pairs of ear plugs for us to wear as we open fire.

We tried played the bagpipes as loud as possible for as long as they play their music when they turned it up and after 3 days of this method the coin dropped and no more problem. Was that annoying that we couldn't even put up with the bagpipes that we went for a walk to get away from it.

Regards from the Madman
