Hi whatever
no there isnt a class for the cobra in the Senior State Motocross series.
There is a junior class for up to 90cc 2 stroke - 110cc 4 stroke being catered for at club level and at some Junior Opens. Also at the annual Quad State Championships. {just held July 15th}
There is one boy already racing a cobra in WA. To ride the cobra you must be 9 years old to Under 13yrs.
Are you shifting to WA?
If you are send us an email when you get here and will give you the contact details for the 2 clubs that host Junior Quad Classes.

What do the little ones there race then? Should I bring his 50cc Adly (also modded - ported and racing custom built exhaust) ... Would he be permitted to race that?
Or is racing for the smaller guys not that big? _________________ Mikey got 3rd in the Nationals!!

400 different riders have competed throughout this years Smokefree State Round Series, and
Sunday the 14th of October is crunch time, Coastal Park in Henderson will host the final round 6
with over 200 riders entered for the day, it will certainly be the hottest Motocross Ticket in Town.
Having been advertised across the airways on 96fm, centrefolds through Autotrader, Sunday Times
ad's and coverage by Sunday Times journalist Trevor Hedge, with previous rounds promoted across WINTV
this years Series has broken all attendance numbers for Rider participation and spectators alike.
The main event is the Pro Open class for which the number 1 plate is allocated to solo riders,
Michael Addison(Belmont Tools) on board the KTM holds the lead by 50 points in front of Ben Hothersall{Honda Country}
Porter and Matt Gangell equall on 213 points with James Craig a handful of points back in 5th.
Pro Lites riders Louis Calvin on 281pts Paul Humberston 258pts and Daniel Woodward 230pts will be battling it out
for line honours. Rumours of Calvin riding Honda have leaked out, so this maybe the KTM's swan song with Calvin onboard.
Pro Quads has certainly got the goods to keep us enthralled to the end come Sunday. AUS #1 Chris brenton first won a state title
back in 2004, having won 2 National titles since then, the State Title has eluded him in recent years. Anthony Yewers
the bridesmaid from 2006 state and Nationally sits on equal points with Ryan Lancaster, both 43 points behind Brenton.
This series is coming down to the wire and I'm sure the Quad fans will be down at Coastals cheering everyone on.
Spectators
Action starts at 9.30am
Full Canteen & Bar facilities are available
Admission
Adults $20
kids under 16 free. _________________ www.waquadmx.com |
