The Qld Quad Riders Association State Mx Champs has been set for 07. The date will be october 20/21, more details as they come to hand.

Hi Foursmax
Is this event going to be run by the Moreton & DMXC ? and will it be at their Tivoli track ? and will Kevin Mortimer be the race secretary/promoter? Will this event
have a naming rights sponsor or will it be sponsored by individual classes?

Jaden sometimes has to go interstate as a saleman, I am assuming that he must be interstate because of his lack of keeping you all updated.
My personal belief is that the 2007 Qld Titles are just not going to happen this year but that is only my hunch, so you will have to put all of your preperations and plans on hold untill Jaden tells you whats going on officially.
The "2007 Thundercross M.X.Series" still has a Quad class in all of it's rounds across Qld and is enjoying good grids of quads.

derek is correct. (for once!)
we have had problems securing a promoter with the money that we have.
at this stage i dont think we will be holding the state champs.
of course, if this changes i will notify everyone asap.

Jaden has not told us of any offer by the Clermont club to run this event, so fill us in, as I can't see what the problem is either.

the cleremont club is happy to do something with us but its not that easy.
of the 50 or 60 quads that have attended last years event and the 05 event a contingent of nsw and vic riders have attended and the extra 10 hour drive could stop them from attending.
Also, our sponsors need value for money and this also needs to be put into account.
If we only get 30-40 entries due to the location of the event, then money could be lost. Unfortunately this needs to be thought of as a business operation. We have until the end of the month to secure another venue so ill keep everyone updated.

there was no 'offer'. i had a brief phone conversation at which they said they would be happy to LOOK at it. see other post.

Is the problem a 'venue' issue or is it a 'infrastructure' issue ?
If you can give us the full details then maybe we can all make this happen because its still not to late.

ive tried phoning you and ive left messages on your work phone.

I have spoken to Raylene (M.Q.) today with regards to your problem of obtaining officials to run the Qld M.X. Titles for you. She said " give her a call and she will give you all the details of all the officials that you will need to make this happen and they are ALL local officials".
