Hi everyone
I was just wondering if anyone would be interested in joining myself and a few mates for trail rides east of Melbourne.
I'm talking east of Lilydale - about one hour away
I know there are plenty of you guys in the south east that ride together -
Our group is 3-4 quads every second weekend
I have seen other quads out our way!!!
No agenda - just mates going for a ride close to the outer east

Hey Shane, let us know (PM with details) and I'll see if any of them fit into our current race schedule, I haven't been for a good trail ride for ages.... _________________

Happy to. We are out East at least once per month. Between 4 - 12 of us at any one time. |

My computer died last Friday 24/8 so unable to few posts. Only just got it working again.
Now not able to go for a ride this coming weekend due to work and fathers day for others
My small group has planned our next ride for either 8-9 September
One day ride only on either day
I will ask again near this date to see if anyone wants to come along

Now come on, how many times when waiting for the usual slow riders to catch up do you go and play on some near vertical hill... _________________ 2005 KFX700

Great ride with the blokes on Saturday out east of Melbourne
9 all up
All names withheld to protect the famous
Great meeting place to start
After short trip through ruts, holes and over logs to start the day -
Local Teco lead the way on Banshee
Not before a two wheeled idiot thought is was a good idea to ride into a quad!!
Up one slippery hill then on our way
Came to muddy rutted section that stopped us all.
But only for a short while - bit of team work and we were off again
Full steam ahead - until tight track - slight whoops there is a tree across the track - and one Banshee climbing bank on its own
All fine - then a very rocky hill - off came a chain. But fixed quickly and on ourway
Stopped at a quarry and one yellow machine did a bit of hill climbing
Started back - very dusty at the back and hard to see
All good until an amazing near miss with a large log on the road.
Came back to the same rutted section again - once again few got stuck - bit of lifting and hitting the rev limiter and we were away
Few of us low on fuel so split up -some taking the easy way back
Yes me included. Had to roll down hill with quad off to get back
All returned the the meeting place for a great feed and refreshments
Thanks blokes for including myself, Teco and Mark and for the after ride entertainment
Note to self: I must change my gearing so I can go a bit faster!! And use less fuel!!
Cheers blokes - see you all again soon _________________ 04 YFZ450 -
