thats some cool stuff Ash, im gonna give you a BIG pat on the back for doin that stuff without nerfs and in sneakers you got more ball$ than me
oh and i dont intend to go sideways in the air, most of the time its caused from a kicker in the upramp |

Very cool pic JB. 'Xcuse the ignorance but is that you in the pic? Some sorta record or something? Or just typical crusty showtime?
YFZ450... When a jump throws you out like that, what's the technique for straightening up? Other than just leannnnning. Do you rev and break at certain points in the air? And those Nike Airs I'm wearing are all good. They're actually Cross Trainers with anti-ankle-roll technology
cheers,

| Yeah ash thats me in the pic, although i don't believe pictures do justice to the size of that jump. The downramp was 9 metres high and my ramp is just over 5 metres high. I could fill a page with info about that jump, but hopefully atv action's gonna do that for me. |

Ash, the biggest thing is just spending time on the bike hitting stuff and getting a feel for how the bike will behave. once you are prepared as to what the bike will do in the air you can think about counteracting it. i havent thought too much about it untill you mentioned it but leaning the opposite direction helps a little and a panic rev does wonders to straighten the bike out . on a quad there is only so much you can do to straighten it out, after that you just gotta ride it out and land with the gas on and tough it out |

It probably helps to be a tall as you are Adam. All that extra leverage you get from the length of your arms and legs and being able to position your body weight further outside the quads centre of gravity makes a huge huge difference to how far you can repo the quad in the air. _________________

Didn't hurt my feet, 4styler, if that's what you mean. But I'm looking into proper boots now. And I wouldn't really call my jump a successful superman. More like a running man
Thanks for the tips YFZ450.

| O.K, held straightline well and lucky enough i can remember "rain" although i have cousins out past Charleville 6or 7 years old that have only seen rain once or twice .Convenient resting place for the old "XD" [Xtreme Downramp]. |
