I have got wind through a couple of contacts that very soon the state reg laws will be thrown out and there will be natioanal reg laws that every state will have to follow but the best part is that they will not be able to to take reg away so that means if one state has rec reg for quads that will mean that all the other states will get it. get it |

Once I find out more I will let you know. |

Well this I do know... there are going to be a huge amount of people watching this with interest. Be good to go the tassie style.
And without being the devils advocate here... but what if the other states adopted Vic rules on rec reg... _________________ 2005 KFX700

National reg laws are already in. Have been for years. Unfortunately States dont choose to use them and they dont have to. Rec Reg in Victoria will change when Vic Roads is privatised. If it remains under the State Govt then we will not see Rec Reg in Vic as the managers dont like quads. It is all political.
Oh yeah - The comment about getting reg by default is definately true. Many have plates on their quads. Fortunately many general cops do not know the laws about reg so will let you go but those that do will take your plates and cancel your reg. Good news is you will not get a fine though |
