I only read about the state trail bike strategy for the first time yesterday, I went to the site to fill out the survey and was suprised to see that the survey closes on the 31st of July.

Does anyone know anything about this strategy? I'm more that a little suspicious about a public comment survey that pops up 4 days before it is due to close.

Yep until yesterday I had never heard about it, read it in the third last page, bottom right hand corner of the local rag. It makes me wonder how long the anti offroad crowd have had to muster up support and organise thier public comment.

If they want a true sample of what the riding public want - then it should be advertised properly and get it out there. I think the purpose of it will be to serve the outcomes that they are already working on - restricting offroaders.
