Hey, recently had a head on with a big mongrel of a tree. The frame is busted on the left side rail right behind the bumper, and bent in a few places along both rails up until just behind the shock mounts.
Not sure whether to straighten and weld the damage, or replace the entire thing. Will I lose much strength in the frame by straightening?
Any help greatly appreciated! |

depends on how it is repaired, more likley the the repair would be stronger than the rest of the chassis. LTZ frames are pretty rare in good cond. a new one from suz or kawasaki is around $1200-1400 though so worth cosidering the repairs. _________________
