That’s right im going back because its one of the best rides around (chicks love it)
My wife Megan myself and our two kids are looking to head back to Manar for some first class trail riding action --- mate this place rocks
We would welcome any one looking to make the 4 hour drive to picton for a weekend of good family fun
We camp up the front near the office and the sleep out huts that are available for hire
And they also have hot showers to wash away the evidence of the days ride
So come on guys and girls here is plenty of notice so lets get a heap of us out there to promote the family fun side of the QQRA and have a sh!t load of fun doing so
Just a couple of things
(1) This place is 15000 acres so we don’t need to camp in each others pockets if that’s not your seen
(2) They have limited spare parts and food and drink
(3) bring heaps of fuel (the kids and I did almost 260k’s last visit)
(4) if we get enough riders we will set up a half day orienteering task that will cover 150k’s (this task will prove to be challenging on rider and machine whilst keeping it fun even for beginners or novice riders)
So stick a post up if your coming and we look forward to a good weekend

Well alright then – it looks like we are going to make a weekend of it
Kwaka – sounds good Rick I hope you and your family can make it as its shaping up to be a awesome weekend and it would be good to meet up with you guys (what age are your kids and what do they ride?)
Mildgen – happy to ride with you guys any time – I will be riding with Megan and the kids so we will be in no hurry (just good to look around and enjoy)
Prokiwi – glad you guys are coming as its always a pleasure – I will book our spot this week (tell Karen – Megans got a bottle or 20 on chilling)
Bigjon – that’s the place although that website is a bit old its still the same with out the water ---- your right it’s a long way so try emu creek its only half as far
So far so good – it looks like we have 8 to 10 quads going and its only early days
For any one else thinking of coming – most of our partners ride and love it (at a safe pace) so we intend to keep it real and make sure it’s a good weekend for the whole family – there will be times that the big boys head out and rip it up but I work on the theory --------------- KEEP EM IN THE SEEN = KEEP EM KEEN
You guys booking cabins ---- I would be booking this week as they will not last long
And remember to bring your padded jocks because after three days riding you will wish you did

It’s on like Donkey Kong
I phoned today and yes they confirmed there is no more cabins left ---- but a truck load of camping spots (15000 acres)
Pro – I have booked our spot with power so we are all good
Kwaka – look forward to meeting you guys – my kids sold there quads because they had no other quad riding kid to ride with (bugger) so now they are as follows girl 14 years KX85 and boy 10 years KX65 (I hope by then I can convince the wife into letting me get them one of those typhoon 125)
Calberin – pencil in your holidays now and get your tent ready because manar is unreal and you guys will love it ---- good luck with the new quad and hope to see you there you will need to organize a trailer this time though because mine looks like its going to be choca block 3 quads / 2 two wheelers and sh!t loads of fire wood
Mildgen – we are booked for Friday/Saturday and Sunday night so we would leave Brisbane around 4am Friday and arrive about 8am and then head home around lunch time Monday --------- what would be your plans?
Hey every one how many of us have or will be getting GPS on our quads? I only ask because there is some there is some good orienteering (I think that’s how to spell it) activities we can do on our quads _________________ -------------------------------------------------------

Rossco
Glendon could not cope with 12 to 15 quads
It’s a top place but just not enough to keep every one amused
I like it there as a relaxing family ride but others wouldn’t
So any time your going there let us know and I might head down for a night
If your whole family rides then manar would be an awesome weekend for you guys as its very laid back and for the four days we where there we never crossed paths with an other bike on any of the trails ---- and I think there was about 100 odd bikes there that weekend
Thanks huge _________________ -------------------------------------------------------

Let her know there are about 6 or 7 other girl/woman quad riders coming (fun riders only not the racing type) and if riding is not her thing that’s cool because most of the girls like to have a wine or two in a nice shady place
As far as cabins are concerned I am not shore if there is any left ---- if not there is always the tent
Would be good if you guys could make it
