| dont think it is or was designed for dunes it has been built to race mx or xc i think has it not? so to run it it the dunes wouldnt do it justice to compare really |

it either goes hard and handles well or it doesn't. I don't know that any quad is designed for the dunes. It needs to be compared against the other 4-stroke 450 machines in stock trim for a fair comparison and on the same terrain.
Is it as ugly as a Polaris? I think maybe not. Its certainly a unique look from the Yamaha, Honda and Suzuki which don't differ a lot. _________________ Proud Member of QuadridersSA

I would have to agree with Bjorn about the "No quad is designed specifically for the dunes" comment, and I would agree with Bjorn again that a stock to stock comparison is required to judge the machine against other 450's, but I don't agree entirely with the "Predator Ugly" thing. I thought the Pred looked like an alien when I first saw it, but it is growing on me. Perhaps the DS will do the same? Awsome technology in this puppy though. Can't wait to throw my leg over one.
