honestlly standard carbs are not going to be big enough for a long rod set up. im guessing it is a 4mill stoker.
go to www.carbspartswarehouse.com and get a set of 30mm at least or 33mm.
and start with about 160s in those carbs |

i'm running 300's in stock carbs with dmc aliens, reed spacers and a boost bottle and a redline air filter plus a few little mods too numerous too mention but not consequential to jetting
seems to do the trick for me |

everybody's jetting is different, find someone who knows how to jet two strokes, or get it dyno tuned.
OR have a look around on the net for two stroke jetting advice, (somewhere like bansheehq.com has a great article on it) get yourself a couple sets of plugs, an assortment of jets and a nice straight stretch of dirt to wind it out, and learn how to jet it yourself! _________________ 2002 SE Banshee |
