How good is the new QQRA news letter/magazine?
Did every one see the centerfold – now that’s a guaranteed way to sell 10’000 copies 
I can’t believe it “HUGE” in all his glory 
No seriously once again – well done to every one involved in putting together another top quality club magazine
And for all you none club members out there ----- it’s worth joining the club just for the free magazine posted out to you every month or two
It’s a good read and it keeps you up to date with whose racing/riding where and when – not too mention it’s good for a laugh to
So come on guys and girls lets support the Queensland Quad riders Association

i have to agree with huge, chicks dig a man with a big gut. It shows commitment and pride, hanging it out there aint easy!
As for the magazine, if you want to sell anything quad related or add an article please email it to me and as long as its not to serious ill add it to our next edition. If you attend our next ride on july22nd at tivoli we will be taking heaps of photos for the next mag, so you might even become a star just like huge !

hey greg,
i dont really want it in open view greg, only paid members are given the issue. it would be cheaper just to have it on the net but i dont think its fair to those who support Qld Quad Riders and pay there hard earned.
of course, if it was voted on at one of our meetings then this could be changed, you could bring forward the idea and we could discuss it?

As a paid up member of the QQRA , I see no problem sharing the info around for those who are interested. And if it saves the club some funds , as you say, then surely this is of benefit to the club.
If our yearly subscription only covers the magazine , could an executive decision be made at the next committee to reduce costs and use the said funds to more actively promote the sport / organisation in general.
Maybe we could spend the money on some bumper stickers for the backs of our trailers. !!!
Maybe the other Clubs could post there club newsletters on here as well. - now there is an idea !!
.PS this is not a dig at any club member , just a positive contribution

My vote would be NO
I think the posted out newsletter (for QQRA members only) is a far better idea
I also enjoy reading it as there are sections and articles in it that I wouldn’t even look twice at if they where on the net – but find myself reading any way in the magazine
Its also good for advertising supplier discounts to club members only --- and not to mention the fact that some members don’t have the net so you would still need to print copies any way.
The reason I worded the earlier thread the way I did was to get fellow quaders that where not QQRA members intrigued enough to join ------ well at least I tried
Its only my opinion (if that’s allowed?) ------- see ya at the next meeting

i hear ya, the newsletter cost about $140 per issue, and usually i pay for that out of my own pocket, as did the previous person who did this for the club. so it doesnt come out of the clubs money usually.
What we could do is email the newsletter to those who are on email and post it to the others. Maybe we can vote on this at our AGM in december?
as for the stickers, we have the large stickers for the back of utes, the smaller ones are a good idea. do you know anyone who could do this for us?
these are the type of ideas we need to move the club forward, let me know if you have more. Usually huge has an idea after he takes a dump, it must clear his mind! keep it up big boy !

Personally i agree with huge, which normally i dont, because his ideas and thoughts are alcohol fueled !
but anyway, thats why we need as many members to come to the club meeting to discuss and vote if things need to be changed. Not one person can change this but all of us as a group. Reminder that the meeting has been postponed until next tuesday evening at 7:30pm the 17th.
Huge, if possible i need you there to discuss the funday, and if possible ill get greg there as well.

I know this guy who is doing the whole sticker thing from his house (cheap)
Ill ask him what its worth ------- he can only do one color stuff so what the club one look like?

Even more reason to reduce the cost then if people are paying out of their own pocket. Jayden , u can just email mine if it saves postage and cost. Im not precious about it. I suppose both options will cover most people ( good point about email huge), and may help Jayden put the money into his engine repairs instead LOL !!
I did get a www.ozatv.com sticker done up for the tailgate on my trailer , cost $20 and looks awsome. And I just walked in off the street and paid retail price , so im sure we could get them cheaper if we tried.
