Just heard from a reliable source that Vicroads are closing the Hume highway for 7 hours tomorrow to build a "Possum Bridge" in the Euroa/Violet town region.
Good to see our taxes goin to good use.
I believe the Koalas are pissed off becoz they've been lobbying for this for years to no avail. OHS being what it is these days I'm sure it won't be long B4 all these little critters will be donning the "hi viz" gear.

You missed the point priesty they are only spending the cash on this project for our safety.Vic roads and Vic police are ,as we speak training possums to use SAFETY cameras.This is obviously an initiative that has absolutely nothing to do with revenue raising .
Oh and i believe possums have just been added to the electoral roll so that they can now vote in the next election.
The wombats are getting a tunnel next week

Unfortunately i didn't get any pics.I was too busy looking at the line of possums on the side of the road waiting their turn to cross.haha.
It wasn't much to look at, a rope ladder spanning the width of the hume ,the reason i didn't get a pic was 'cause i was laughing so hard that i couldn't focus on it in the view finder.
Apparently there is another 2 or 3 of these in the pipeline.
I reckon i might take a deckchair and an esky to the grand opening of the next one.
