| HI IM INTERESED IN TRAIL RIDES BETWEEN BRISBANE AND ROCKHAMPTON HAVE BEEN TO MANAR PARK AND LOVE IT I RIDE A NEW KWAKA 450R AND THE KIDS HAVE A 250 TRAILBLAZER AND A PREDATER 90 |

Hi Kwaka450 , welcome to the forums,
A few of us have been to Manar Park and really enjoy it also . We will be back there again soon no doubt.
Always places to ride if you know where to look.

Kwaka,
Welcome to the forum, you will find heaps of helpful info on here. You could consider joining the Queensland Quad Riders Association. www.quadrama.com They are mainly into MX but a few members (Huge mainly) are trying to get the Trail Riding division off the ground.

Hello Kwak450,
Where are you based? As shown I am in Gladstone and there a few of us which are starting to ride in the area. I am also looking at entering a few rounds of the Thunder cross this year just for sh$ts and giggles.
We have a few good spots around the area. Two weeks ago we put 6 quads onto a barge and done a full weekend riding a island not far from Gladstone which included riding sand dunes and fast grassy style tracks.
If you are interested let me know.

maybe we could get a few brisbane boys there and make a decent trip of it

Hello Prokiwi,
Have to keep the groups small and sensible for a number of reasons. There are a few inhabitants on the island which I need to stay in the good books with. If we don't annoy them they won't annoy us if you know what I mean.
At the moment we transport the quads over on my own barge which can only accomodate 7 quads.
I would however be keen on catching up with your group the next time you do a ride at glasshouse.

To the PRO,
No worries, Might be able to sneak a few of you over in the future but there are some other good beach spots just south of here, Gladstone that is which about 5.5 hours north of Brisbane.
Looks like you have a few toys in your shed hey.

| hi jackass 450 thanks for the reply i am based in rockhampton it would be great to catch up for a ride not many places to stretch the 450 legs around here mainly short circut type stuff i am currently talking with one of the guys from cap dirt riders club about putting a quad loop in the john coots 2 day induro in sept this year hope it comes off if it happens we will need lots of support to make it happen again |

Jackass , any time u guys want to make a weekend of it , anywhere where sand is , u can call me . Im in Mooloolaba on the Sunny Coast so am only 4 hrs from u on a slow day ( I do Harvey Bay in 2.5 hrs )
I miss the sand  , shame stockton beach so far away.

thanks for the reply i will check our the quadrama web site i have a 12 year old son who wants to race quad mx and dos alright on the free style side already i am 44 years old and mx makes me sore just watching it

HERE HERE to Stockton.
We used to go riding at Five Rocks which is just passed Yeppoon but like all other good spots they have to be registurd to be able to have access. It is a pity that the two wheel people do more damage than us with four.
I think that over the past few months the social / trail riding following is starting to pick up with interest from Brisbane through to Rocky it would be good to put our efforts together as I know a few riders who would be keen to do the enduro style events.
