Done several wheelie's today.
its been 3 or 4 years so it was quiet a rush, considering it was in 4th so i was doing around 80 before i lifted the front up. hmmm so much smooth power. no clutch or hard tug on the handle bars just twist the throttle 1/2 way and up she comes.
Picked up a pair of Razr2 for the rear 20x11x9.
So now i just need some beadlock rims and some new front tyres, as stopping is an issue with 3/4 worn front tyres.
Cheers

I need a brake upgrade, and some better bar clamps, but apart from that its awesome....
at 9800 rpm its pulling hard and sits on 182kph so at redline will be around the 220 - 230kph region...
its actually very stable at 180 and it still has the stock a arms on it.
in the next week i will strip it down totally and finish a few things off then get it powdercoated and re assemble, with new susspension mods etc.
plus some irazr's for the front
cheers

Just watched the video.
Dude... Wear all the safety gear. And keep in mind that the best safety gear in the world will only keep you so far from death.
Take it easy.
But yeah, looks bloody awsome.
Well done. _________________ Can-Am X Team

My bikes back on its wheels again.
I powder coated the frame and now a few extra little goodies go on.
+2 a arms, new custom front and rear brake rotors and pads, bash plates, ceramic coated headers / exhaust, remote mounted camera. etc.
for the frame i picked a pearl metalic black.
Looks great in sunlight..
should be back together tommorrow arvo and running sat lunch time.
cheers for now

| just a quik one seen as you have the a arms i think it would be wise to add some inches to the rear end also as you will find the rear being unstable and that goes for standard engined quads let alone that beast , i would also say that it would not be to wise to use plastic spacers cause im pretty sure they are not designed for the sort of stress this thing will put them through ,, saying that i have never been involved with a build of anything like this and if it was mine would bight the bullet and buy an axle , contact hustler atv in s.a he is a good dude and will look after you i dont have his contact details but im sure if you want them holeshot racing will be able to sort you out ,, be safe and make all the precautions you can to stay safe ,, we dont want to hear about you or the bike being in a wrecking yard |

thanks fella.
right from the start i havent cut any corners, or left out anything that i will need to make this thing perform to its full potential.
a rear axle is certainly coming, along with a full set of hiper double beadlocks, and irazor front tyres.
then its a time for a set of Elka Elites or maybe the new DMS shocks!
cheers |

| hmmm well seen as your in s.a ,morphett vale really , i think that ohlins pds shocks or even the peps would be a better option as a place in lonsdale services them if you are keen to find out more pm me and i can say a bit more but i have elka elites front and back and to tell you the truth i wouldnt get them again , i found just by sitting on another bike with ohlins that they where a smoother shock but again just my opinion . however the simple fact that you can drive no more than ten mins from your home to get them serviced instead of sending them back to the eastern states is a huge pro , you can alsoi i think get them re-valved in lonsdale to wich means more tunability and with your bike i think that will help |

Alot of people in quadriders sa atleast have been having trouble/failures with their elka shocks. Dave and patto spring to mind. I would consider disco's suggestion of using an aftermarket shock that can be serviced locally. _________________ Proud Member of QuadridersSA

| thanks holshot i knew somone would agree for an elite shock the plastic spring retainers are a very dissapointing aspect even more so when you look at the price of them ,, if it wasnt such a power house bike and you wanted to race moto x i would look at the springless shox made in australia but for your bike i would be getting either of the ones i said before , i think the ohlins will be the cheaper of the two but the peps are ment to be the best around i think but i would steer away from the elkas ,, i know 47 industries will say different and he is probably calling me all sorts of names reading this but like i said thats my opinion |
