as per events section.
"For those who came last year to stanmore mx track for the Qld Quad Mx titles, its on again! details will be release soon, awesome track like last years but better. Quad only track.
December 9th and 10th.
This was rated the best race weekend by all those who attended, ask cowchaser and china!
I spoke with the promoter today and its a goer !

hey postie, hadnt planned on it mate, now that youve reminded me ill have a think about it. its just that the chunder x tracks put me off. The hundred or so two wheelers just chew it up.
did you go to the last round? how was it?
and by the way, has barkla got onto you guys about our atv mx series for next year? we need to get organised. |

C'mon bruz , more quads means we'll flatten more ruts! You seemed to handle Echo Valley alright. Mt Perry was pretty good no ruts just rough and fast. Down to 9 entries but 8 starters with 8 finishing, I had the bombardier and Jake Udy on his banshee keeping me honest in the big battle for second ,losing the 3rd moto to Jake. I think ol dad give him a few tips in the second race when he slipped ahead of him into third on his slippery blaster. Gilbert was basically unchallenged with 3 out of 3. Kel was happy to finish the day still coming to grips with how much rough it is on the other side of the camera.
I havnt spoke to JB for a coupla weeks, although i read the newsletter and how does a 4 round series from
Outback to Gold Coast sound, Maybe start in Roma on Easter sunday. It's the biggest weekend on the roma calender and the MX club usually draws a thousandish spectators and they say the quads are a main attraction with our 8-10 hillbillies including barkla making us look slow. Then a round down the Goldie either Stanmore or Reedy Creek , then how about Goondowindi for the third i dont know if the club is still running but it is a good track and central location and depending on it being built hold the last round at the new quad only track on the coast. Numbers would vary from location , i'd guess 6- 10 from this side the hill might do the full series. Feel free to throwback any input . |

when i spoke with jb we decided to have a time line of end of july for numbers. we then said we would get you hillbillies down to reedy for a club day in september not only to race but to get everyone together to finalise our ideas for next year. ill let you know more once jb and i have numbers. if you can, drum up business amongst your redneck mates and let me know who you have and also contact details for them, that way i can keep them updated. if you can email me your details to start with. ta

by the way, connondale is the weekend after we get back from our trip to the sand, so i might not be able to come, ill see. |

| Hope we can get enough for connondale. Kevin was quite p....pppissedd off about less than 10 but whats new, they're always up us. I haven't received my entry confirmation for it yet so heres hoping. Connondales and awesome track and would love to get there, I know the club themselves want us there, maybe we can include them in the quad series? what do you reckon furtrax, mx4me, anyone from QLD!! |

Connondale is a wicked track I raced thumpernats up there on a two wheeler in 01 I love the place. You guys better get up there or you dont know what your missing out on

| I can't wait , Have not seen it yet but everone raves it up . I cant understand why we are still struggling to get 10, there has to be more guys on the coast that want a chance to ride one of what sounds like the best track of the thunder x series. I think definitely include Connondale in "Great Divide Quad series" next year if they want us, |

| I know what you mean MX, this would have to be at least the 6th year that quads have run thunder x, you would think by now that the grid would be full, I still think it is because of th size of the state, Melbourne to Warnambool may be a big drive but Brissie to Weipa takes 3 days |

Yeah good point I have to keep it to a 6 -8 hour radius so i can still work the next day. Until i find a relief driver/rider.The ol ute near wheelstands on these Qld roads when you go over 110k/m , so speeding is out .

the original promoter has withdrawn, but the quad club is doing the math as i type to see if its viable. hopefully it will still go ahead.
