Huge,
Read your ride report on Quadrama, nice work. I will try and make it to your next trip away.
Is that ProKiwi on the DS in one of the photos? I noticed the tow rope on the front of the DS, is that so he can drag you up the hard stuff? Just kidding!!!!!
Its good to see that they have water in the streams, is it flowing or stagnent? _________________ 2012 Polaris RZR XP Turbo

Hi Greg , yes thats me on the bomb, I always carry a rope when riding with Yamaha's , usually have too tow one or two back to camp at some stage, although its usually the 4fiddy's that grenade ......lol
Even with the stump pulling power and torque of the bomb , i couldn't pull huge 's bike unless he got off it !! He's a big boy !!!!!. LOL
U should come out there one weekend the place is very quad friendly.. even the bomb fitted around all the enduro tracks. _________________ It's time too ride !!!!!!! |

Mildgen , bring your misses out there with her bike , she will like it too , there are plenty of easy safe areas to ride and soon there will be a few other women riding out there too I think. !!! _________________ It's time too ride !!!!!!! |

you had better go to big w and buy a 7 day pack of jocks as it sounds like your going to need them
hope it holds together for ya ------------- did you need to weld braces in the frame to hold it in shape when you hit the gas?
has any one been for a teat ride?? if so whats the feed back ??
get on / hold on / close eyes / hit nos / pray _________________ -------------------------------------------------------

Huge,
I have already ridden it at Easter but the gas was not fitted and the Barnett clutch gave out after a few days. We also found out that Rocket Factory had sent a stage 3 cam instead of the stage 4 that was ordered, this has since been rectified/replaced.
It was scarey fast at easter but I did find that with double the HP you get 3 times the wheelspin so I guess some of the "extreme" acceleration is lost due to traction. I have fitted a +2 swingarm which helps a little with keeping the front wheels on the ground.
We havent done any frame mods at this stage but I dont do a great deal of jumping which tends to do the most dammage to the frame and you dont seem to get and body twist on hard acceleration. Only time will tell on that one.
I will give you a squirt next time we catch up for a ride, I have also promised Jaden a go (just so he knows what its like to have a quick ATV.)
Cheers,

did you only get to ride it on the sand and what tyres did you have?
did it get hot while riding?
when do you think you would use the gas (just for fun)? or are you thinking of doing some sort of land speed record thing like your house to the bottle shop and back in 10 seconds
thanks for the offer but i dont ride others bikes/quads as a rule
yours is a good example -------- if i was to damage it in any way the cost and time to replace is "HUGE" and your day would also be over (no more riding) just not worth it for all involved thanks any way
just happy to eat your dust _________________ -------------------------------------------------------

Huge,
No problems, fair enough on the no riding other peoples stuff.
It didn't get hot but it wasn't particularly hot on the days, I have been considering a PWR Radiator but I will wait to see how it goes on a hotter day.
I rode it at Stockton beach and used a set of Sand Skate II paddles on 10" rims I competed in the sand drags on the Sunday but had a lot of problems with the clutch.
I plan to use the Gas when I am competing in the sand drags that are held at Stockton, I may use it when doing other stuff but only for a bit of a laugh. The bottle is mounted in a moderately exposed position so it will be coming off when trail riding. _________________ 2012 Polaris RZR XP Turbo
