Just joined this forum and also AORVA - recently got a Can-Am Commander MAX XT. Set it up for (and got) conditional road registration in Qld. Will use it for a bit of work around my small place (28 acres) but want to assist in the work towards getting some form of gov't approval to use ORVs in some coastal and forest areas, not just private land holdings.

Am recently retired, so have some time on my hands (family commitments notwithstanding) to pro-actively participate in trying to move forward the effort to get legal access to suitable ORV areas.

Anyone focussing on a Qld process?

Welcome aboard. I know what you mean. These guys from AORVA are on the ball if we support and back them we might get some where.

Thanks for the welcome.

And, AORVA site (and group) seems to be the right way to go, I agree, but the site seems awfully quiet there, though -- is there a user message forum that I'm missing on that site? Can't see one. The last news post on the site was about an event in May and there doesn't seem to be much other activity on the site. Just a once-a-month update on the news page.

I'm keen to pitch in and help, but maybe I'm missing something -- even though it's a new group, I expected a bit more activity on the site, if it's to be the voice of AORVs.

Happy to be corrected and pointed in the direction of some proactive efforts.
