yes, I like pauls idea too. my back maybe a bit better by easter too.
I am happy to ride 4-5 hours a day.

PS. whats the chances of turning ironpot into a "ridepark" and having it open to ride,say, the first weekend of every month? |

trail ride or comp ? does not matter to me you can still ride as fast as you want. biggest hurdle is asking for numbers with no set date particularly this year with 2 endure series running. im off to QMP this weekend, 9hr run for me ea way. you have to get used to doin the klm's if you want to ride/race quads[/list][/list][/code][/i][/b]

Have things planned for the long weekend in October-4th 5th & 6th. Applied for the date through MQ, but as usual have not heard anything yet.

It's a shame you didn't go with the Easter weekend. I would have been there for sure.
October I will be out racing at Thargomindah again.
Hook, when are you coming out to Goondiwindi for one of our MX club practice days?
We have been trying to get Quads to come for a while now but know ones keen. |

Annual membership is $30pp or $50 for family.
Track fee is $10 each practice day.
MA day licence is $25 if you don't have one.
We would like to have at least two or three quads for a class.
There is a practice day this weekend or 'like' our Facebook page. (Goondiwindi Motorcycle Club). Practice days are usually the last Sunday of the month, with the exception of this one. |

"Ride The Divide" is looking like it may well be a weekend of social trail/cross country riding. Very similar to the event in 2012 [except non competitive] with some new sections of riding. Around the 40 klm in distance. This weekend is the footy grand final weekend and a tv will be set-up for all interested, with the usual camping/showers and canteen.

Well it`s been run, 156 riders in total only 1 incident, and a bike. Thanks to all those that attended, a let down that those that reckoned they were coming never did and we never heard from them, oh well !!!

Well,we just did it! A big thanks to Hook and Sonia and to all those people who helped to put this event on ,for us riders.
The drive was no problem for my back,(only 4.5 hrs from the gold coast) and all the riders were friendly and happy to there.There was even a tv to watch the footy grand final sunday night. A big plus were the HOT showers to wash away the dust and sweat!
It was a very relaxed weekend with some great riding. Book us in for next year. Thanks again.
gazman and kevey and brooky too,she was the apprentice on the trx700xx and she went really well too!
