what set up do you use and why and does anyone have before and after dyno results. looking at changing out the stock filter as, well, i have changed everthing else so why stop now. but i need something to handle lots of finke dust. looking forward to your replies cheers

I'm not familiar with Polaris, but for YFZ450 in dust you can't go past a billet adapter and foam air filter with flange. Also install a outerwear. I've always been satisfied with ProDesign.

Regardless, if you don't maintain it and install correctly it will eat dust!

Update ended making one myself k&n tapered filter and 65mm turbo intake tube on dyno picked up 4.5 hp to total 66hp

if you are in the fine dust i would avoid the K&N. Swap it for a dual stage foam filter as they filter down to a smaller micron of sand. Since you went with a big intake just get a car dual stage and you will be laughing
