Had my 06 YFZ450 stolen so planning for a replacement. I need some advise from those who have ridden both. My 06 was highly modified,AArms, axle, shocks, stem, flex. So I want to know if a kitted out 04-08 would still be better then a standard or modded 09-10 keeping in mind my limit will probably be $6000.
Is the fuel injection worth the extra coin?
Confirm that the 450R is wider (stock) then the older ones?
450R shocks are suitable for Clubmen racing?
Share the good, the bad and the ugly....go _________________ QRCV Clubmen

If your limit is 6k you'll be stuck with pre '09 models. You may find an EFI model but for that price she'll be beat up. _________________ Don't close your eyes during the crash, you'll miss the best part |

as above.
If you get an 04 - 06 make sure they have had the oil mod done or be prepared to do it yourself for peace of mind EFI is good as you dont have to mess around with re-jetting and what not when you do mods. also better on fuel so you just need to way up the pros/cons |
