I know this is a general question but we are planning a trip to Tassie in Sept from NSW and I'm hoping to get some good advise as to where to ride.
The trip will consist of two 4WD cars and two quads and we are planning to do a lap of the island.
The last time I was in Tassie was 25 years ago for a conference in the casino then a quick drive to Port Arthur so as you can see any suggestions would be welcomed.
I've been looking at maps of Tassie and trying to work out how long we would need to do the trip as some of these young guys need to go to work and what do you guys think of Sept weather wise. We pick Sept because we were suppose to go to the Cape but half the group couldn't get enough hoildays.
Thank you for your help |
The following booklet should help -

There are plenty of other places to ride all over the state other than those in the booklet. You can just about ride the entire North East coast, Bellingham to Bridport, Waterhouse, Tomahawk, Ansons Bay etc.
There are too many state forests to mention that can be explored.
Have a look at the Tassie Quads facebook page. They have rides going fairly regularly. You might find somebody that's willing to give you a bit of a tour around their area if your lucky. _________________ 2010 Sukuki
