Hi,
Just joined site as a newbie & thanks for having me. I need a place to get advice and this seems to be it. I just bought this vehicle yesterday, but no paperwork was supplied, the seller stated that it was unregistered as it was used as a farm runaround, I have a couple of questions, can I get it registered to drive on Fraser, Morton etc. I don't want to drive it on the road per say, just an occasional beach and sand tracks. Also can someone point out where the best place to get parts for this trike, I am stripping it, and doing a complete restoration on it (Sandblast, powdercoat etc etc). and the fairing is shot, and the racks. Any help would be really appreciated. Is the 200 ES any good?

You can get conditional registration for your machine in Qld.
You are unlikely to get the required permision to ride it anywhere for recreational purposes, unless it is part of a club event.
Seeing as that doesn't happen in SE Qld.........
In the eyes of the law, beaches and sand tracks are just as much public roads as the Bruce Highway.
Morton Island is residents use only for such machines.
Bribie is a no go.
Frazer is the same.
Ride parks and private property is about the limit of legal use.
That said, illegal use is rife.
And "they" are getting better at catching up with us.......
