Well, if the whinging neighbors don't put the cops or the rangers onto you, the EPA's hidden game cameras might get your details.
That's assuming that you don't get skittled by some twit with a bad attitude, doubtful parentage or any rego.
Not that the rego's CTP is much good in an area that has enough "green tape" attatched to bury a courtroom full of ambulance chasers.......

In other words: Too many people in too small an area with too many regulations and too many fools.

What are the legalities of EPA working on for foreign owned private land , because didn’t the previous labour government sell all the forestry land to a US company (from memory it was about 1 million acres they sold between Burpangry and the Sunshine Coast which is why 4x4 and dirt bike don't need permits up there anymore).

The previous mob sold the timber, not the land.
The land is leased while the harvest matures.
The land still belongs to the state, but the "management" of it is done by the lessees.
They have a substantial portfolio, with a head office in Melbourne.
I wrote to them, asking for permission, and they phoned me back.

In short, they said to bugger off.
Such activity as riding and 4wding in the state owned, but leased lands is done without permission, yadda, yadda.

It's not a case of no permits needed.
It's a case of none sought.

As to the legalities of the EPA, ask then yourself.
They probably won't tell you that they use game cameras to record activity, that such evidence can be linked to their substantial powers, that such information can and is shared with other agencies........

Other agencies, such as the NPRSR, might tell you of a magical scheme.
That this scheme is a works in progress, but it's similar to Wyaralong, and is to be on the Sunshine Coast somewhere.....

In any case, I and other riders, generally don't bother"up there" anymore.

I can tell you that such madness as people enjoying the use of commons does occur in other areas of Qld. That on the Easter weekend, we counted no less than 60 quads heading west to be used for enjoyment.
The recent Bunyip ride was an eye opener for many people who made the effort to get to Birdsville.
Big place Qld, and this, and previous, state govts, don't have a clue, or care much about much more than the "great south east".
