You thinking that maybe if Patrick doesn't tune up, a lot more will tune out Husky?
If you were, you wouldn't be alone.
Those links you put up are mainly for two wheelers.
Four wheelers need more than what's NOT HAPPENING here IMO.
Seems to be a lot more happening on facebook than any where else for quads.........

maybe a quad news Facebook page? U already have that.
I can go for a ride on sunday and post pics on facebook on my way home...
several replies with in minutes ...

Tassie and Vic have there own pages.
The two clubs in Qld have there own.
SA has pages going.
Buy and sell pages are about too.
A few national pages as mentioned.
Numerous groups have their own thing going.
OTHER FORUMS>>>>>
As shown, other interest groups have active forums.
You name it, it's out there.
For certain, I believe this forum needs a tune up and rework.
When I joined way back then, it was coming.
When the server died, a lot of members couldn't find the new one.
It's got a few quirks, this new server too. (notifications for one.)
And newer members are having to wait a long time for post approvals.
I remember a bloke who just got beat by Patrick setting up a "Aussie ATV forum"......
I wonder what will happen first?

whats the point of having a healthy discussion on a forum that has a lot to do with the decrease of quad activity in australia just to have it locked

Not supporting the "other party" but the forum rules are pretty clear on the way that thread was worded, unlike facebook. 
But I get your point, you had no joy with discussion/venting about it.
As others pointed out on that thread, take your complaint, with support from those affected, to the other bodies higher ups.
That mob needs a bigger tune up than this forum, in my own opinion.

I'm not paying the bills or doing the hard behind the scenes work to merely upkeep this place... let alone upgrade it... so I'm pretty happy with it as is..
running through a third party picture hosting site isn't really that hard a thing to do...
If however the management wants to update or upgrade the software... might I suggest xenForo forum software? |
