I have had a lot of my replies to posts go to my outbox but don't send, i tried saving them to resend but they don't save either??

If you see them in your outb ox it means they havnt been read by the recipient

When its in outbox how can the recipient read it. |

The recipient will still have it in their inbox, marked as read. The switch from sent box to outbox is only so the sender knows their message has been read.
