A quad rider was airlifted on Saturday to adelaide hospital after a head on accident with another bike. The quad rider did not have a helmet.
Guys make sure you wear helmets when riding

It turned out the lady riding was on a Sunday arvo cruise when she was hit head on by a dirt bike she has ended up losing a leg below the knee. Yet the news reports it as quad bike accident it was not her fault. It gives quadbikes more bad publicity

Was she in fact wearing a Helmet?
and not having being to the area mentioned, was it a "one way" track, if so, who was going the wrong way?
Right or wrong, PPE or not, she has paid a high price, my thoughts/ best wishes, go out to both riders and their friends / family. |

Interesting how many people get hurt / killed when they are "just going for a slow sunday ride" |

| if it was a public dirt road the quad shouldn't have been "travelling along it on a sunday ride". primary producer's permits (if one was applicable) only permit use for "work" purposes, and in most cases, only allow the "crossing" of a public road. Add to that the lack of helmet and there appears to be not an ounce of brain associated with this incident |
