I got given a yammie big bear today but don't know what model as it has the old beige plastics but the key is on the handle bars. I'm guessing that someone has replaced the plastics with some off an older model It has no high / low ratio and gearbox is R N 1 2 3 4 5 starter motor is on top under the carb unlike most big bears The rest of the machine is standard big bear parts and the motor is definitely a Yamaha 350 I would be grateful for any thoughts

Ok folks it turns out that the bear is a 90 frame with a 99 motor Was given it because the electric start gears blew to bits and the owner didn't like pull starting 10 o 15 times a day (dairy farmers) Her father then pulled the stator cover to take the bis of gears out and when he put it back together it wouldn't go into gear It appears that he's done something to the clutch adjuster I pulled the cover and a 10mm? ball bearing an circlip fell out the bottom Does anyone know where I can find info about where everything should go Thanks in advance for any help
