Gday, Went out for a ride sunday morning with PeteW, buzzbro & priesty at location *********** (not telling!) after good falls of rain overnight the & steady light rain in the morning it was wet!. Keen 2 hit the trails we set out & within a minute we were in morning gridlock with a group of 4wds. After the we got past the "peak trafic" we got underway & with a lack of traction, it was the order of the day with the constant battle 2 keep the quads straight. We did a few hill climbs & tackled a few rutted out trails/hills which made for interesting riding with in a couple of places having a stream of water flowing down them , the puddles were everywhere & a few that we hit seemed more like dams, at one point i had full vision then the next i had a wall of orange clay coloured water everywhere around me. buzzbro & preisty had a great run & a bit of a workout. Turns out that they dont usually tackle the rutted or bumpy stuff & i think they also said water, mud & slippery conditions werent a part of there normal riding but they have big grins on there faces by the time we got back 2 the cars. As the morning progressed the rain started 2 really come down hard & keeping good vision through our goggles became a big problem & after a while 2 of us thought it was easier just 2 ride without them. All in all a good ride & with a few beers & a big lunch at the local pub we had a great day, so we r hoping the rain continues 2 fall so more rides were as good as sundays....JB

I'm glad I did my raindance on friday, coz I don't think I could manage it now, all in all a great days ride & NO DUST !!!

Yeah had a blast it was great to ride some new challenges like dams ,lakes and waterfalls,ruts and canyons.Had a great day the only reason i am not still smiling is it takes muscles to do so and man they all hurt.I think i'm gunna have to think about a bit of fitness,ahhh maybe after pool comp at the pub tommorrow.
