The Cheap Chinese Quads welds also crack, its generally not the quality of the weld, its the guage of the steel that is the issue, the pipe is just too thin, so they crack up.. perhaps the buggy suffers from the same problem.
If you are adept at fabrication, you may be ok.
Its only a bargain if it does what you need it to do for as long as you need it to do it...
generally things that are too good (or too cheap) to be true.... generally are. |

If OLD BLOKE opens the PM I sent him on the 12th of Feb, it may be of use to OLD BLOKE. I spoke to one of the guys in Port Hedland who has just sold his buggy recently. He had no major issues with his unit but it was driven mainly by the kids and his wife on the beach when they went fishing. He did say that quite a few of the nuts and bolts and assorted bits tended to come loose if he hadn't loctited them. Overall he was happy with the buggy considering how much he had paid for it new, but said that it did have it's limitation with power. He had the unit for over eighteen months and up until the time it was sold, the motor didn't miss a beat. Hope this helps. _________________ I'm not suffering from insanity, I'm enjoying it!!! |
