My wife and I recently visited NZ where we took part in a quad ride, it was a hoot and the wife is keen for me to add a couple of quads to the stable now. She rode a little auto Can-Am and they had me on a 250 Suzuki DS I think it was, we both found them a little under powered but fun anyway.
So my question is really to do with what would be the best value quad (x2) to start out with, we both ride road bikes and I've had limited dirt experience but found the quad easy to get used to and rode it pretty hard.
Great site by they, well done. |

Welcome to the forum.
The CF Moto's represent pretty good value for money.
I'd reccomend getting some quad training or taking it pretty easy until you know the machines a lot better though.
Quads are not real forgiving of ignorance, and a totally different kettle of fish to two wheelers.
And all of that is different to having somewhere to actually ride. _________________ Remember. We elect politicians, but we have to deal with bureaucracy.

Buells, well yeah, kind of, long story short I used to own a Buell and I still know quite a few Buell riders, they are a great bike just not for me, well not until they bring out these new ones anyway.
Would you be able to recommend a good dealer to talk to in regards to a couple of second hand quads in the NSW area ? Or would I be better off trolling the internet sales sites ? |
