I first heard about these guys when I saw some of their quads at Legend Quads being prepped for the big ride.
After hearing their story I bought a neck brace.
Count me in, I'll help.

I reckon buying the dvd will help. I've ordered mine...
Anyone got any cash to donate to get help them do a tour of the capitol cities might be doing a good turn too.
Apart from the fact its about quads, it's about five Aussie people seriously disabled by MV accidents, and that is something that should be signicant to all motor vehicle users.
It not only shows a great quad based adventure in Aus, it highlights that quads offer people of varying disabilities a option to go.
Apparently, these people also manage to tell how they cope with their disabilities, which is very revealing.
After my neck operation, I know that I think about "what ifs" more than I used to, but that does not stop me from enjoying, and supporting, this sport which provides so much in so many ways.

Well. we watched it last night.
Yes, I'm passionate about quads and side by sides.
And I love the outback.
And I really admire people with determination.
And this was very inspirational.
Some very frank language, which doesn't worry me.
But a very real look at how these guys coped with their gear, on an epic ride.
And how its been adapted for their own special needs is understated.
Great scenery and some nice riding sequences too.
$25 well spent, and well worth the viewing time.

4 very inspiring and motivating men right there!!
I was moved by this story!! having been personally touched by the dangers we all face when riding and racing I thank my lucky stars that for the 7 years I raced competitively, and crashed spectacularly during this time all without a neckbrace (they didn't have them in the 90's) I escaped with only minor issues.
I have been friends with someone like these guys who is now wheelchair bound from a MX crash and it shakes you when it happens. I also unfortuatley got to see my cousin spend 7 months in a coma due to a MX crash and yea it shakes you.
But that love of bikes is a drug that can never be rehab'd from it is something that will always drag you back in as these guys show you!! I think it is awesome today we have these safety devices that make our sport just a little bit safer and I say only a little bit safer cause as we all know with this sport comes real danger as we have all just been shown ( RIP Caleb Moore) even when wearing all the gear.
I also think is awesome that we have the technology that allows guys like these to live the dream and ride again.
