Hi, I am trying to decide whether to buy a Suzuki Kingquad 300 2011 $5500 6000km or a Honda TRX420 2007 20000km $7000. It's for slow speed riding up and down a steep track on our 100 acre farm. Often with a small trailer or two people.
Any opinions?

Forget it.
2 people have been buried this year towing trailers with quads.
Neither bike is a suitable platform for carrying passengers.
Look at a different type of vehicle to do the task described.

Yeah i dont recommend taking passengers.
But i have the same model trx420FM mate and love it. I mostly ride recreational and this quad is real good. Plenty of power and first gear is real low range so would be good for the hill climbing.
I would try and talk him down a bit from the 7K though. They are just over 9 brand new!!!

You need a side by side (rhino or similar ) or a quad truck (4x4 suzuki carry or similar with atv rims and tyres) assuming you have them over there.
