Here are some print outs from another time we were out there and a mate had a GPS with him. I just penned in some of the spots we were so you guys can get an idea of the area we were in.

Yeah mapping it out puts some of those tracks into perspective!
Spent 4 hours waiting in emergency last night to get a x-ray - saw a Doc for 5 mins and was told to come back tomorrow morning to get a x-ray. Just got it done and it came up clean - no breaks or fractures just some nasty bruising
No more pulling wheelies on rocky hills

| ok then boyz seeing it takes us bout 3 weeks to organise a ride, start chimin in. will probably be our last one for the year. so curtis or im happy to go back to kalpowar or open to suggestions. 8/12 and 15/12 no good for me. also be good to see some new faces join in cheers. ps hows the back goin xv |

Yeah mate I'm keen. I heard they have cracked down on quads etc on curtis so don't know how we'll fair over there? I would be keen to do some exploring at Kalpower if we can get a GPS................

| had a feeling that would happen, we should be using code names on you tube and on here etc. but could have something to do with the lng mob. what have you been told about it ? can we get away with it 1 more time . have you got moskos no. and give him a call ?. slim is ok for some lighter riding and has a voyager trailtek unless its smashed after finke. he would proberly want to avoid flipping ets. dates ??? |

My mate down here who does the quad tours told me about it, I think he said it was in the paper and yes it had to do with lng. Another option is to come down here we have some sandy tracks, dirt, beach riding that is mostly flatter country. One ride is about 130-140km return from here to out around Turkey Beach area. I would be keen to do a night run down here too for something different. I have 4 acres here so plenty of room to camp, power etc. Should be able to incorporate my mates 500 acres where he takes the quad tours as well. As for dates I should be able to work with most dates as I cant think of anything that is pressing apart from work and most times I can work around that

well im still a little stiff - definitely not 100%
I don't know my schedule or how i'll be over the next few weeks - busy time of the year for all.
oh and playing with my phone the other day I've realised i've got a app that can record gps tracks - just need to rig up a charger point on my bike
Anyway keep me posted and if dates suit and i'm feeling fit i'll be keen - no flipping

Hi all, been a while!!! Finally went for a ride yesterday with donk, and am glad to say all is well and my bike and back held up fine  There is plenty of potential to make some really good tracks where we were yesterday. Im sorry to hear about you having a get off Henry, hope you come good soon!! Kalpower looks awesome mick, it would be good to get down there for a ride. I am defininatlely interested in a get together before chrissy so let me know what dates you guys are thinking!!! Hope to see yas all soon!!!

Henry, I have a couple of GPS app's on my phone but the touch screen is not glove friendly which is a pain. Also have a charging point so might have to have a play around with it.

| my bikes in bit again waiting for a new clutch master cylinder to turn up, so im looking at maybe the next weekend after that one kawboy, the weekend of the 8th. but dont forget how much i like having fridays off. what about slim and xsv dates any good ??? cheers |

| me again, as it turns out the weekend of the 8th no good for me either and with work xmas party on the 14th, dec is shot. we are going to manar on or arround the 22nd dec for a week so could catch up there. bad time of the year to organise a ride. i think thats why nobody has posted dates cheers |

| just back from 10 days at manar takes that long to see the whole place , or nearly, got the best loops for quads sorted out. also have booked our site at manar for oz day weekend sounds like same events as last year if anyone else is interested cheers |

Haven't been out for a while as i've been tied up but will be keen to go for a ride soon.
Changed the front sprocket on the 700 to give it a bit more bottom end - gave it a quick test run and its a lot better in the first few gears. Still need to find some front shocks to replace the oem pongo sticks.
Donk are you still doing Finke this year?
