93% sayno....its only the manufacturers of such a stupid device and the people they have sucked into there lies and bogus facts that are voting yes,
common sence knows making a bike taller / more top heavy isnt gonna lesson injury but instead cause more

how bout just put a helmet on. i think we all know that these will never be seen on a race quad. could you imagene being hit with the bar in the back through woops or being hit by another riders bar who rolled beside you. who can garrentee that its not going to be the bar itself that hits you on the ground. and can you imangine the speed the bar would have at the end ! what worries me is they may bring it in for farm quads only then it becomes a grey area. if i ride my race quad on a farmers place, what then ?. hard enough to get on land now. just my thoughts cheers

Link comes up with file not found If fitted to a utility quad how long before it has spotties mounted on top or a shovel holder fitted down the side is used to hold a bigger tool box which in turn makes it a bigger liability

Two points…..

1. The child who died in this particular accident wasn't wearing a helmet, was riding a full sized adults quad, did not have his parents approval, had not had training on how to handle a quad, and was not being supervised by an experienced adult.

2. In the USA, where ATV sales are more than ten times that in Australia, these anti rollover bars are considered unnecessary, cumbersome, and no where near as successful as proper training, proper protective clothing, and keeping kids off adult sized quads.

Spot on observations^^Muzzgit.
Similar observations were also shoved hard enough into the Ministers face to see his sweeping changes talk get swept away....

Fortunately, he can only do what is actually in his power, not his ego.
